Tarot- und Orakelkarten

You pull the Three of Swords in a love reading and your stomach drops. Is it heartbreak, or the honest conversation that finally clears the air? Tarot card meanings are rarely a single verdict — they shift with the question you asked, the position the card fell in, and the cards sitting around it. This collection gives you a plain-English read on every one of the 78 cards, upright and reversed, so you can answer that question yourself instead of guessing.

Every Minor Arcana card is here — the four suits of Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles, Ace through King — alongside all 22 Major Arcana, from The Fool to The World. Each guide reads the card in daily life, love, work and money, and explains how the reversal changes the story rather than just flipping it to bad news.

Beyond single cards, there are guides for the parts people get stuck on: how to lay out a three-card past-present-future, how to work a full Celtic Cross, a 30-day course that takes a complete beginner from shuffle to first reading, and an honest guide to building a paid practice if you want to read for other people.

Everything is an instant-download PDF, written and edited by people who actually read cards — not spun out by a chatbot. There is no subscription and no app to install. You pay once, download it in seconds, and it is yours forever — ready to open beside your deck the moment a card leaves you stumped, and to re-read whenever you draw that same card again.

How to read a card instead of memorising it

Start with the picture. Before you reach for a keyword, look at what the card actually shows — the ten swords in someone's back, the two figures under the angel in The Lovers, the coins being counted in the Eight of Pentacles. The image carries the meaning, and once you can describe the scene you are already halfway to reading it. Keywords come second, as a check on what you saw, not a replacement for it.

Then read the card in its position and its neighbours. The same Tower means one thing in a what's-blocking-me slot and another beside the Sun. A reversed card usually softens, delays, or turns the energy inward rather than simply flipping to the opposite — a reversed Knight of Wands is impatience with nowhere to go, not a total lack of drive. Each guide walks through both directions so you learn the logic, not just the label.

The cards people actually look up

Some cards send everyone straight to a search bar. Death, which almost never means a literal death and almost always means an ending you cannot undo. The Tower, the sudden collapse that clears bad foundations. The Devil, and the question of what you feel chained to. The Three of Swords for heartbreak, the Ten of Cups for the settled, happy home. These guides give each of them a fair reading — the fear and the upside — because most of the dramatic cards are more useful than their reputation.

The quieter cards matter just as much. The Two of Cups for a real connection, the Four of Pentacles for holding on too tightly, the Nine of Pentacles for earned independence, the Page of Wands for a spark of an idea. The collection covers all 78 individually, plus a single full 78-card reference if you would rather have the whole deck in one file.

What the cards say about love, money and yourself

Every card guide splits into the areas people actually ask about. In love, the Lovers is about a genuine choice and alignment, not guaranteed romance; the Three of Cups is friendship and celebration; a reversed Two of Cups points to imbalance. In work and money, the Eight of Pentacles is patient skill-building, the Ten of Pentacles is long-term security, and the Five of Pentacles names the fear of going without.

For the inner read, the cards are steadier ground than most. The Star after a hard stretch is quiet hope, the Hermit is deliberate time alone, Strength is calm rather than force. Reading for yourself works best as a mirror — a way to name what you already half-know — rather than a set of instructions, and the guides are written to keep you in that honest, practical frame.

What tarot won't do for you

Tarot does not predict fixed events, name lottery numbers, or tell you the day something will happen. Nobody can honestly promise that, and any reading that does is selling certainty that does not exist. The cards are a structured way to think through a situation from angles you might avoid on your own — closer to a good conversation than a crystal ball.

It is also not medical, legal or financial advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor, a lawyer or an accountant. If a reading raises a real fear about your health, money or safety, take that to a qualified person. Used honestly, tarot is a reflective tool — good for clarity and decisions, not for outsourcing them.

Questions people ask

What do tarot cards actually mean?+

Each of the 78 tarot cards carries a core theme — the Ten of Swords for a painful ending, the Sun for clarity and success — but the full meaning depends on your question, the card's position, and whether it is upright or reversed. The image is your first clue; keywords confirm it. Our guides give the practical read for love, work and self on every card.

Is the Death card bad?+

No. Death almost never means a literal death. It marks an ending you cannot reverse — a chapter closing so something new can start, like leaving a job or a relationship that is already over. It can feel heavy, but it usually clears space. Reversed, Death often points to resisting a change that is already underway.

What's the difference between upright and reversed?+

An upright card reads in its clearest, most direct form. Reversed, the same energy is usually blocked, delayed, weaker, or turned inward — not flipped to the exact opposite. A reversed Knight of Wands is stalled drive rather than none at all. Every card guide covers both directions so you can read whichever way the card lands.

Can I learn to read tarot by myself?+

Yes. Most readers are self-taught. Start by learning to describe each card's image, practise short three-card spreads, and read for yourself daily. Our 30-day beginner course takes you from shuffling to a full reading step by step, and the spreads guide covers layouts from three cards to the Celtic Cross.

How many cards are in a tarot deck?+

A standard tarot deck has 78 cards: 22 Major Arcana, from The Fool to The World, and 56 Minor Arcana split into four suits — Wands, Cups, Swords and Pentacles — each running Ace to Ten plus Page, Knight, Queen and King. This collection covers every one, individually and in a single full reference.

What do I actually get when I buy a guide?+

An instant-download PDF you can read on any phone, tablet or computer, and print if you like. It covers the card's upright and reversed meaning across love, money and personal growth, written and edited by real readers. There is no subscription and no app — you pay once, download, and it is yours to keep forever.
