What this is, and what it isn't. Your report is calculated from your birth details using published astronomical and numerological methods, and the calculations are checked against independent reference software. The written interpretation is a reading: a way to think about yourself, not a statement of fact about your life or your future. Nothing in it is medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and nothing in it predicts events. If you are dealing with a health, money or legal problem, talk to someone qualified to help with it.

Every section is matched to a specific placement in your chart, so two people with different birth details get different reports.

What you need to enter
- Your name, as you want it on the cover.
- Your date of birth (1900 or later).
- Your time of birth, as exact as you have it.
- Your place of birth, chosen from a list so we get the right coordinates and time zone.
- Your email address, entered twice, because that is where your report goes.
No birth time? Tick "I don't know my birth time". Without a birth time we cannot calculate houses or your Rising sign. Your report will be shorter (about 25 pages) and will focus on planets, aspects and your year-ahead themes. If you find your birth time later, send it to us within 30 days of purchase and we rebuild your report free of charge.
How we calculate
Planet positions come from the astronomy-engine ephemeris, which we checked against Swiss Ephemeris at 2,000 moments between 1920 and 2030: the largest difference for any planet was 0.34 arcminutes. We use the tropical zodiac and Placidus houses. Your time zone is set from your birthplace and birth date using a historical time zone database, so daylight saving and old local time rules are applied as they were on the day you were born.
The text is assembled by our software from a library of interpretations written for Esotorium, one for each placement, and matched to what your chart contains.
How we calculate, in detailDelivery
Your report arrives as a PDF by email within 24 hours of payment; most reports arrive much sooner. The email contains a download link that works for 7 days. If your report has not arrived within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then write to hello@esotorium.com. We reply within 24 hours.
If something goes wrong, you get your money back
We refund in full if you write to us within 14 days of your order and:
- the calculation in your report does not match your birth details;
- your report did not arrive within 24 hours;
- you entered your birth details incorrectly (we rebuild the report once for free, or refund you if you prefer);
- the file is damaged and we cannot fix it.
We do not refund because you disagree with the interpretation: it is a reading, not a fact about your life.

Frequently asked questions
I don't know my birth time. Can I still order?
Yes. Tick "I don't know my birth time" and we calculate your chart for noon. Houses and your Rising sign need an exact time, so they are left out, and your report is shorter (about 25 pages). If your Moon changed signs on the day you were born, the report tells you so and describes both options. Find your time within 30 days of purchase and we rebuild your report for free.
What format is the report?
A PDF of about 35 pages, US Letter size. It opens on a phone, tablet or computer, and the text is set large enough to read on a phone without zooming. You can also print it.
When will I get it?
Within 24 hours of payment, by email; most reports arrive much sooner. If it has not arrived within 24 hours, check your spam folder and write to hello@esotorium.com.
What is the 12-month forecast?
It shows which of your houses the slow planets (Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and Pluto) move through over the 12 months from your order date, with start and end dates, and the exact dates when Jupiter and Saturn form aspects to your Sun, Moon and Rising. It describes which themes get more attention and when. It does not predict events.
Can I buy it as a gift?
Yes. You can buy a report for another person, for their own personal use. Enter their name and birth details, and your own email address. The report comes to you, and you can forward the PDF to them or print it; their name is printed on the cover. Please ask them before sharing their birth details with us. Reports may not be resold, published or passed on beyond the person they were made for.
Is my birth data safe?
We use your birth details only to calculate and deliver your report. We do not sell them, share them with advertisers or use them to target ads. We delete them 12 months after your order, or sooner if you ask. Payment is handled by Shopify's checkout. Details are in our Privacy page.
Can I get a refund?
Yes, if we got the calculation wrong, the report was late, you entered your details incorrectly, or the file will not open and we cannot fix it. Write to hello@esotorium.com within 14 days of your order. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
Is the report written by an astrologer?
No. The text is assembled by our software from a library of interpretations written for Esotorium, one for each placement, matched to what your chart contains. That is why reports for different people differ.
I made a mistake in my birth details. What now?
Write to hello@esotorium.com with your order number and the correct details. We rebuild your report once, free of charge, or refund you in full if you prefer.
