All we need is your full name at birth and your date of birth. No birth time, no birthplace.

What this is, and what it isn't. Your report is calculated from your birth details using published astronomical and numerological methods, and the calculations are checked against independent reference software. The written interpretation is a reading: a way to think about yourself, not a statement of fact about your life or your future. Nothing in it is medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and nothing in it predicts events. What you need to enter

Your full name at birth, as close to your birth certificate as you have it.
Your date of birth.
Your email address, entered twice, because that is where your reading goes.

That's all: no birth time, no birthplace, no gender. A missing middle name or an accented, hyphenated or apostrophized name calculates normally. Ordering takes about 15 seconds.

How we calculate

Every number comes from your full birth name and date of birth by addition and letter-to-number conversion (the Pythagorean system, the version most widely used today; a separate Chaldean system assigns different values to the same letters, and the report says so). Identity numbers, your life path, expression, soul urge, personality and birthday number, can land on a master number (11, 22 or, for names, 33) and are never reduced past that point. Life-stage numbers, your pinnacles, challenges and personal year, are always reduced to a single digit from 0 to 9, since they describe a stage rather than your identity.

The text is assembled by our software from a library of interpretations written for Esotorium, one for each number in each position, and matched to what your name and birth date produce.

Your reading arrives as a PDF by email within 24 hours of payment; most readings arrive much sooner. The email contains a download link that works for 7 days. If your reading has not arrived within 24 hours, check your spam folder, then write to hello@esotorium.com. We reply within 24 hours.

If something goes wrong, you get your money back

We refund in full if you write to us within 14 days of your order and:

the numbers in your reading do not match your name and date of birth;
your reading did not arrive within 24 hours;
you entered your name or date of birth incorrectly (we rebuild the reading once for free, or refund you if you prefer);
the file is damaged and we cannot fix it.

We do not refund because you disagree with the interpretation: it is a reading, not a fact about your life.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to enter?

Your full name at birth, as close to your birth certificate as you have it, and your date of birth. No birth time, no birthplace, no gender: neither participates in the calculation.

Why my name at birth, not my name now?

The letter calculation is fixed to the name you were given at birth. A name you use now, such as a married name or a chosen name, is not wrong to have, but it adds its own separate layer rather than replacing the original calculation. We ask for the birth name so the numbers in your report match the standard method.

I don't have a middle name, or I'm not sure of the exact spelling on my birth certificate. Is that a problem?

No. Enter your name as you have it. A missing middle name changes nothing about the other names in the calculation, and an accented letter (é, ñ, ü and similar) is converted to its plain-letter equivalent first, so O'Connor, Renée or Zoë-Anne all calculate normally.

What are the master numbers 11, 22 and 33?

Amplified versions of 2, 4 and 6: the same theme running at a higher voltage, with a higher payoff and a higher cost when it is handled carelessly. They are not a more special or more spiritually advanced result than a single-digit number, and the report does not treat them that way.

What is a karmic debt number?

A recurring theme, not a punishment, that shows up when 13, 14, 16 or 19 appears while reducing your life path, your birthday or your attitude number. You can have none, one or several at once; having none is not a reward either, it just means this particular theme does not apply to your chart.

Is this astrology?

No. This report uses Pythagorean numerology, based on your name and date of birth, not the sky at the moment you were born. A separate system, Chaldean numerology, assigns different values to the same letters; we say in the report which one we use and why.

What format is the report, and when will I get it?

A PDF of about 16 to 19 pages, US Letter size, sent by email within 24 hours of payment; most orders arrive much sooner. It opens on a phone, tablet or computer, and the text is set large enough to read on a phone without zooming.

Can I buy it as a gift?

Yes. Enter the other person's full name at birth and date of birth, and your own email address. The report comes to you as a PDF you can forward or print; their name is printed on the cover. Please ask them before sharing their birth details with us. Reports may not be resold, published or passed on beyond the person they were made for.

Is my data safe?

For this report we only need a name and a date of birth. We use them only to calculate and deliver your report, we do not sell or share them, and we delete them 12 months after your order, or sooner if you ask. Details are in our Privacy page.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, if your numbers do not match your name and date of birth, the report was late, you entered your details incorrectly, or the file will not open and we cannot fix it. Write to hello@esotorium.com within 14 days of your order. Full terms are in our Refund Policy.
