Moon phases day by day
Each row is read at 12:00 UTC on that date — a calendar day has one icon, but the Moon moves through it, so a day near a phase change can read either way by a few hours. 22 of 30 days carry a void-of-course window; they are marked in the last column and listed in full below.

How to read this month
A lunar month is about 29.5 days, so it never lines up with a calendar month. That is why June 2028 can hold two new moons or none at all, and why the same phase name covers several days in a row: the eight names — new, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full, waning gibbous, last quarter, waning crescent — are 45-degree slices of the Sun–Moon angle, not instants. The two moments that are instants, the new moon and the full moon, are listed at the top of the page to the minute.
The Moon in column is the zodiac sign the Moon is crossing, which it changes roughly every two and a half days — a different thing from your own Moon sign, which is fixed at birth. The void column marks the stretch between the Moon's last exact aspect and its next sign change. In traditional practice that is a window for finishing and resting rather than launching; it describes timing, not outcomes, and nothing on this page predicts events.
Where the numbers come from
Positions are computed with astronomy-engine, the same engine behind our birth chart calculator, checked against Swiss Ephemeris to within a fraction of an arc minute. The new and full moon moments were verified against AstroPixels (Fred Espenak, NASA/GSFC) and agree to better than two minutes. If you want a month to the second, cross-check a dedicated astronomy source such as timeanddate.com.

Frequently asked questions
When is the full moon in June 2028?
7 Jun 2028 at 06:09 UTC, with the Moon in Sagittarius. The table above converts that moment to your own time zone, which can move it to the day before or after.
When is the new moon in June 2028?
22 Jun 2028 at 18:28 UTC, with the Moon in Cancer. Times on this page are shown in your browser's time zone once the page loads.
Which time zone are these times in?
They are calculated in UTC and then converted by your browser to whichever time zone your device is set to — the page names it under the heading. A lunation is a single moment for the whole planet, so only the clock reading changes, never the event.
What does "void of course" mean in this table?
The Moon is void of course between its last exact aspect to a planet and the moment it enters the next sign. Traditional practice treats it as a poor window for starting something you want to stick, and a fine one for rest, tidying and finishing off. It is a timing convention, not a forecast of events.
How accurate are these dates?
They come from the same ephemeris engine as our birth chart calculator (astronomy-engine), not from a copied table. New and full moon moments were checked against AstroPixels (Fred Espenak, NASA/GSFC) and agree to well under two minutes.
Esotorium reports and tools are for self-reflection and entertainment. They are not medical, psychological, financial or legal advice, and they do not predict events.
